Ventura College’s Veterinary Technology program offers an Associate of Science degree designed to prepare students for successful careers in the animal healthcare industry. The program provides a comprehensive education, integrating hands-on learning with a curriculum that meets all American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) standards. A key advantage is the AVMA-CVTEA accreditation, assuring a rigorous program that prepares graduates to be practice-ready. Students gain expertise in veterinary laboratory procedures, surgical and anesthesia assisting, digital imaging, dental procedures, medical nursing, and emergency care.
