Fox Valley Technical College’s Veterinary Technician program provides comprehensive training for individuals passionate about animal care. The curriculum focuses on developing practical skills essential for assisting veterinarians in a variety of tasks, ranging from patient assessment and medication administration to surgical assistance and dental procedures. Students gain experience with both large and small animals, as well as laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging. A unique feature of the program is its accreditation by the AVMA-CVTEA, which ensures that graduates are eligible to take the VTNE exam and become certified veterinary technicians. With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and a high VTNE pass rate, this program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the veterinary field and provide exceptional care to animals in need.
