The Veterinary Technology program at Owens Community College is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career as veterinary technicians. Typically, a two-year program leading to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, it provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist veterinarians in providing comprehensive animal care. The curriculum encompasses a broad range of subjects, including animal anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, surgical assisting, clinical laboratory procedures, radiology, and veterinary dentistry.
