The Veterinary Technician program at Marian University-Ancilla is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive as valuable members of a veterinary healthcare team. Typically completed in two years, the program offers a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory experiences, providing a comprehensive understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, surgical assisting, radiology, and clinical laboratory procedures. Students can expect to learn how to assist veterinarians in examinations, administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and provide compassionate care for animals in a variety of settings.
