The Veterinary Technology program at Murray State College provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become competent and valuable members of the veterinary healthcare team. This program, typically a two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, offers a comprehensive curriculum covering all aspects of veterinary medicine, from basic animal care to advanced surgical assisting and diagnostic procedures. Students learn about animal anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, anesthesia, radiology, clinical laboratory techniques, and animal behavior.
